Quand un rêve devient une réalité ~ When a Dream Becomes a Reality

     Bonjour! My name is Toni Idowu and I am a rising senior at the University of Georgia currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs and a minor in French. The literal translation of 'quand un rêve devient une réalité' is 'when a dream becomes a reality.' Today, I am officially launching my blog after being indecisive for such a long time. This summer, I am studying abroad in Paris for six weeks and it has been my single greatest dream to travel or study abroad here for most of my life so I am very grateful that this opportunity has been made possible. The theme of my blog is based on my study abroad experiences and it is really just anything I find relevant, interesting, or funny. Also, the text is written primarily in French with a clear English translation underneath in bold cursive. I hope my words and messages inspire and encourage someone out there because that is my purpose in sharing my adventures with you all.     

       Aujourd'hui, je suis arrivée à Paris pour la première fois. Je n’oublierai jamais comment je me suis senti quand j’ai vu la vue de Paris. Tout au long du vol, j’étais tellement impatiente et heureuse. Heureusement, je pourrais voir la Tour Eiffel à travers la fenêtre de ma résidence universitaire et alors, j’étais étonné par sa beauté parce qu’il m’a semblé comme j’ai rêvé.

     Today, I arrived in Paris for the first time. I will never forget how I felt when I saw the view of Paris. Throughout the flight, I was so impatient and excited. Fortunately, I could see the Eiffel Tower through my dorm window and so, I was astonished by its beauty because it seemed to me like I was dreaming.
